The hotel's location at the base of the mountain allows for easy access to the stunning lakes for swimming and hiking. the property is well-maintained and modern, with a beautiful garden/patio area offering breathtaking views of the nearby town. We found the owner to be extremely hospitable and knowledgeable about the area, making our stay even more enjoyable. the town itself has two great pubs and a cozy cafe at Threlkeld village Hall.
The small bed size with a solid wooden end, which could be uncomfortable for taller guests.

Location at base of mountain & close to lakes for swimming, stunning views, modern property & lovely garden/patio area, hospitable owner, amazing hike with jaw-dropping views.
